Overview

We decide in hours, not weeks, and that only works with great underwriting. As a Senior Underwriter you'll review applications, analyze bank data and trading history, and make clear funding decisions within our risk appetite. You'll also mentor junior underwriters and help refine the criteria and tools we use.

What you’ll do

  • Underwrite small business funding applications quickly and consistently.
  • Analyze bank statements, cash flow, and trading history to assess affordability and risk.
  • Structure offers and set terms within agreed risk guidelines.
  • Mentor junior underwriters and review their decisions.
  • Work with data and product teams to improve our scoring and automation.

What we’re looking for

  • 4+ years underwriting small business funding, merchant cash advance, or commercial credit.
  • Strong financial analysis skills and sound judgment under time pressure.
  • Comfortable explaining decisions to sales and partners.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to fair, responsible lending.
